I mounted a Google Drive folder in which I keep my primary kdbx file. iOS should backup and restore the files MiniKeePass uses automatically, (MiniKeePass doesnt have to do anything special to support backups). I have used KeePass for years on both mobile, windows and Linux Mint without any issues.
